We bring a taste of Italy to you in the form of cocktail parties, family dinners, formal dinners or large-scale events. Our specialty is creating experiences that are served al Fresco,”in the open air“in locations around the scenic Okanagan. We customize each event to make your experience truly memorable, you will always have to option to have your event centered around our extremely popular food Truck and mobile kitchen.

II Dolce Vita – “sweet life” 

Italian. Noun.  (Usually, prec. By la) sweet life: a way of life that is easygoing, enjoying things to the fullest or infers a life of pleasure. La Dolce Vita involves luxury and pleasure in varying degrees.

The Art of Aperitivo

 Aperitivo is often described as similar to happy hour, but in Italy it is much more than that! This is a time in the evening when friends gather to enjoy a refreshing cocktail or glass of wine, socialize, relax and indulge in an immense variety of small plates, nibbles and hot and cold specialities. While Aperitivo is not meant to be in lieu of the main evening meal – it can be! Lasting for several hours. We love to offer an enticing spread of Aperitivo food and drink to open your palate and senses and prepare you for luxurious dining to follow. 

Example items served during Aperitivo:

Pancetta wrapped gorgonzola dates, crispy stuffed olives, roasted tomato, eggplant, basil and bocconcini skewers, saffron arancini, cured meats and cheese

The Tuscan Long Table

After a leisurely Aperitivo a long table set with florals, candles, fresh focaccia and plenty of wine awaits. The pleasure of the long table is lively conversation and long, slow courses served family style from platters. We serve your guests in a manner that allows you and your guests to unwind, relax and enjoy life. Take time, make time, spend time. Served in several courses: Il Primo, Il secondo, I contorni / Insalata, Il dolce.

  • Capellini, lemon, basil, olive oil, parmesan.

  • Porchetta with fennel pollen and fennel seed. 

  • Shaved fennel salad with figs, walnuts and orange, 

  • Grilled vegetables, 

  • Warm fruit crostata with gelato.
